Solution
Check the power cord.
Check that the tank is correctly placed.
Check that the tank is filled.
Check that the power button is on the "ON"
position.
On a new device, open the water tank and
aerate it for 12 hours. On a used device, the
smell is due to stagnant or dirty water.
Clean the tank and the housing thoroughly and
change the water.
Too much water on the ultrasonic plate:
remove some water.
It may also happen when moving an appliance
full of water.
Dirty ultrasonic plate: clean the ultrasonic plate.
Dirty or stagnant water: clean the tank and
change the water.
If the appliance has not enough water or is
not on a stable surface, a resonance can be
heard.
Check that the tank is tightly screwed and the
seal (inside the tank cap) is correctly placed.
The seal could have fallen while filling the tank.
If necessary, clean the cap with soapy water.
