USE
Please Note!
■ Inspect the device for damage each time
before you use it. The device should only
be used if it has been fully assembled, is
undamaged and in working order!
■ Only connect the device to a plug socket
that is properly installed. The plug socket
must be readily accessible so that the
connection to the mains can quickly be
isolated. The mains voltage must match
the technical data of the device.
■ Lay the connecting cable so that it is not
squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with
hot surfaces.
■ Do not operate without water!
1. Place the egg cooker on the kitchen unit
or another work surface that is dry, flat
and water-resistant.
2. Depending on the hardness level you
want and the number of eggs, fill the
measuring cup up to the appropriate
mark
with water:

The CUSTARD mark only applies when the
device is used with a poaching tray (not supplied
with the device).

The marks on the measuring cup
and the preparation times merely
give guidelines for 1 egg. The
amount of water required for the
hardness level you want may vary
slightly depending on the number,
size of the eggs and the tempera-
ture they are stored at. If there are
more eggs, the amount of water
should be reduced slightly. If the
eggs have become too soft, more
water is required. If the eggs are
too hard, the amount of water
should be reduced.
3. Pour the water from the measuring cup
into the heating bowl.
4. Place the insert on the heating bowl.
5. Prick the egg(s) at the blunt end with
the egg pricker (on the bottom of the
measuring cup) so that they do not burst
open when they are boiled ( Picture B).
6. Place the egg(s) in the insert and put
on the lid.
7. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and plug the mains plug into the plug
socket.
8. To switch on the egg cooker, move the
On / Off button (4) to the I position. The
operating lamp starts to light up and in-
dicates that the heating bowl is heating.
The water is brought to the boil.
