8. Use of compound key
8�1 Temperature unit
With the meter off press "
can change temperature unit(°C/°F). is preset.
8.2 Power off function
With the meter off press "
" Icon on the LCD display disappear, which indicates the power off function is disabled you
need to turn off the meter through pressing "
NOTE: When "
" icon displayed on the screen, it indicates that the meter will
automatically turn off after approx. 15 minutes of inactivity.
Notes:
1. This meter has already been calibrated before delivery. Do not revise the calibration
parameters without professional personnel and device. NOTE: All products are well
calibrated before delivery. Recommended recalibration cycle: 1 year.
2. Repairs or servicing not covered in this manual should only be performed by
qualified personnel.
3. Wipe the unit with a dry soft cloth periodically. Do not use abrasives or solvents on
this instrument.
4. Remove the battery when the meter is to be stored for long periods of time to avoid
battery leakage.
5. When the battery is low. A new battery is needed.
6. Do not store or operate the meter in high temperature or humidity.
7. Wind blowing across the microphone increases the noise measurement. Use the
supplied windscreen to cover the microphone when appliance.
8. Keep microphone dry and avoid severe vibration.

11. Disposal
For the disposal of batteries in the EU, the 2006/66/EC directive of the European Parliament
applies. Due to the contained pollutants, batteries must not be disposed of as household
waste. They must be given to collection points designed for that purpose.
In order to comply with the EU directive 2012/19/EU we take our devices back. We either re-
use them or give them to a recycling company which disposes of the devices in line with law.
For countries outside the EU, batteries and devices should be disposed of in accordance with
your local waste regulations.
