WARNING:

CAUTION: SHORT-TERM OPERATION
Do not operate the knife for more than 2 minutes without a break.
Afterwards, pause for 60 seconds.
CAUTION:
The appliance must not be immersed in water for cleaning. Please
follow the instructions provided in the chapter on "Cleaning".

Unpacking the Device
• Remove the motor device and the accessories from the
box.
• Also remove any packaging materials that may be pres-
ent.
• Wipe all the parts with a moist cloth to remove all the
dust that may have deposited on and in the device dur-
ing transport.
WARNING:
Please be particularly careful when handling the knives.
There is a danger of injury. Only hold the blades as near
to the ends as possible or by the plastic handling surfaces.
The Blades
CAUTION:
None of the blades is suitable for cutting bones or other
similar hard items!
With the frozen food knife (5) it is only possible to cut deep
frozen food.
With the normal blade (4) you can cut, for example, fresh
bread, meat, roasts etc.
Initial Operation
• Assemble the blades as shown in illustration 1 (Abb.1).
• Insert the ends of the knives into the retainer on the mo-
tor device.
• Press the blades in the direction of the motor device until
the ends are felt to lock in place. Check that they are
firmly attached.
Electrical Connection
Insert the plug in a duly installed socket.
