Hold the machine with a firm grip. High reaction torque
can briefly occur while driving in and loosening screws.
Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamp-
ing devices or in a vice is held more secure than by hand.
Always wait until the machine has come to a complete
stop before placing it down. The tool insert can jam and
lead to loss of control over the power tool.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewel-
lery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
Never direct the machine at yourself or at persons
close by.
While working, never reach into the magazine attach-
ment and keep your hand clear of the spot, where you
are driving in the screw. Danger of injury from crush-
es/contusions or sharp-edged screws.
Use only suitable screw strips according to the techni-
cal data. When using other screws, the magazine attach-
ment can become damaged.

Assembly
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the mains
plug.
Mounting the Magazine Attachment
Pull off the drill/driver's standard depth stop, if mounted.
Insert the special screwdriver bit 1 into the tool holder 2 of
the drill/driver.
Slide the magazine attachment over screwdriver bit 1 to the
stop on the motor housing.
The magazine attachment can be mounted off-set in 45°
steps in order to achieve a safe and low-fatigue working
stance.
Inserting a Screw Strip (see figure A)
Insert the screw strip only when the power tool is
switched off.
Slide screw strip 4 toward the front through the strip guide
until the first screw is seated one engaging step behind the
screw stop centre 3.
Operation
Adjusting the Screw Length (see figure B)
The magazine attachment must be adjusted to the screw
length being used. Press pin 5. Slide screw stop 3 back or
forth until the arrows on the scale coincide with the screw
length and the pin snaps back into starting position by means
of spring force.
Adjusting the Screw-in Depth (see figure C)
Turning the knurled thumbwheel 6 downward increases the
screw-in depth; turning upward reduces the screw-in depth.
The selected screw-in depth is indicated symbolically on the
scale 7.
The required setting is best determined by testing.
Working Advice
Check the rotation direction of the drill/driver before
beginning to work. The magazine attachment may only
be operated in "clockwise-rotation direction" setting.
Always work at a right angle to the workpiece.
Switch the drill/driver on and apply screw stop 3 to the spot
where the screw is to be driven in. Apply uniform pressure
against the workpiece surface until the screw is driven in.
By briefly lifting off the screw stop 3 from the workpiece, the
next screw is loaded.
Screws already driven in cannot be driven out or retightened.
