08 SWITCHING OFF FOR LONG PERIODS / ERROR SIGNALS
When switching off for a season or for holidays, proceed as follows:
-
Deactivate the device

Turn the general unit switch to off.
The antifreeze function is not active.
Error
Faulty room temperature (AIR) probe.
Problem with fan motor (e.g. blockage caused by foreign
objects, faulty rotation sensor).
Water temperature probe fault for 2-tube versions (H2).
In this case, ensure that the probe installed is 10 kΩ.
Activation optional heating element (not applicable).
This function (activation heating element) is not possible with
this unit, resulting in the error code being generated.
The activation is done by pressing the night symbol "
for 5 seconds, causing the resistance symbol to start
flashing.
To clear the error code:
-
Press and hold the "
" button until the blinking resistance
symbol disappears, then wait 20 sec to save and the error
code E5 will disappear. This is assuming that the DIP
switches on the PCB have been left untouched from the
factory: "DIP switch D = OFF".
