• If you have connected a reversing camera to the connector VIDEO 2 IN, connect the green cable
"reversing wire" to the terminal that carries +12 V when the reverse gear is engaged.
This cable automatically switches the video input to the VIDEO 2 IN input (signal of the
reversing camera) if the reverse gear is engaged. It can be connected to the cable of
the reversing light, for example.
• If you wish to connect a playback device to the monitor temporarily only, connect its AV output
to the adapter cable enclosed (yellow = video, red = audio).
• Plug the phone jack of the adapter cable into the AV IN input (6) on the front of the monitor.
The connector VIDEO 1 IN will be deactivated as long as the adapter cable is plugged
in.
• If you wish to use a headset, plug its connecting cable into the headphone (7) connector on the
front of the monitor.
The inbuilt loudspeaker of the monitor will be deactivated as long as the headset is
plugged in.

Fuse replacement
If it becomes necessary to replace a fuse, make sure that only fuses of the prescribed type and
nominal current are used (see "Technical Data").
You must not carry out your own repairs to fuses or bridge the fuse holder.
• Disconnect the monitor from the power supply.
• Open the fuse holder in the lead wire.
• Remove the defective fuse and replace it with a fuse of the same type.
• Close the fuse holder again.
• Only then the monitor should be re-connected to the car system and put into operation.
• Should the fuse trigger again, have the device repaired in a specialist workshop.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the

Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these symbols to in-
dicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The symbols for the relevant
heavy metals are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (marking can be seen on the
battery/rechargeable battery, e.g., underneath the rubbish bin symbol shown on the
left).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collecting
point in your local community, in our stores or in any other store where batteries/re-
chargeable batteries are sold.
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
