Caution!
■ Never insert the whisk into the base unit
without the gear attachment.

unit and lock into position.
■ Insert the whisk into the gear
attachment and lock into position.
■ Plug appliance into the mains.
■ Put the food in the blender jug.
■ Set the required speed (high speed
recommended).
■ Hold the base unit and blender jug firmly
and press the On button.
Universal cutter
For cutting herbs, onions, fruit, vegetables,
hard cheese and meat and crushing ice
(see also "Tips on using the universal
cutter").
You can crush ice with the ice crusher
blade (some models). Optimum processing
quantity: 4-6 ice cubes.
Caution!
Before cutting meat, remove gristle, bones
and sinews. The universal cutter is not
suitable for grinding coffee beans or cutting
radishes. Operate the universal cutter
at maximum speed only.

■ Place universal cutter on a smooth,
clean work surface and press into
position.
■ Insert blade.
■ Add food.
■ Place the attachment on the universal
cutter and rotate in a clockwise direction
until it clicks into position.
■ Fit the base unit onto the attachment
and lock into position.
■ Plug appliance into the mains.
■ Hold the base unit and universal cutter
firmly and press the On button.

The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned
after each use.
W Risk of electric shock
Never immerse the base unit or the gear
attachment in liquids and do not clean
in the dishwasher. Before cleaning the
appliance, pull out the mains plug! Do not
steam-clean the appliance!
Caution!
Surfaces may be damaged. Do not use
abrasive cleaning products.
Note: The plastic parts may become
discoloured when processing certain
ingredients such as red cabbage or carrots,
however this can be removed with a few
drops of cooking oil.
Cleaning the base unit
■ Pull out the mains plug.
■ Press the release buttons and remove
the blender foot / gear attachment from
the base unit.
■ Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth
and then wipe dry.
■ The blender jug can be cleaned in the
dishwasher.
Cleaning the blender foot
■ Clean the blender foot in the dishwasher
or with a brush under running water.
■ Dry the blender foot in an upright
position (blender blade face up) so that
any trapped water can run out.
Cleaning the whisk
■ Remove the whisk from the gear
attachment.
■ The whisk can be cleaned in the
dishwasher, but wipe the gear
attachment with a damp cloth only.
