Pairing
For the indoor unit and the outdoor unit to be able to exchange data with each other (camera image or microphone
recordings) the outdoor unit must be taught to the indoor unit.
This is called "Pairing" (= binding).
This process was already performed by the manufacturer.
If, however, no image is displayed when commissioning the product (and, e.g., the message "no signal"
appears in the display), the pairing process can be easily started again.
There is a small button inside the outdoor unit; see figure in chapter 6. a), item 8.
Therefore, pairing requires that the outdoor unit casing is opened. Observe chapter 7.
To perform pairing, proceed as follows:
• After selecting the function "Pairing", push the button "
• Briefly push the pairing button at the outdoor unit within 60 seconds (see figure in chapter 6. a), item 8).
If the indoor unit recognises the outdoor unit, "OK" is displayed briefly and the camera image is shown again; the
OSD menu is left automatically.
If the indoor unit does not recognise the outdoor unit, take the indoor unit close to the outdoor unit (distance
at least 0.5 m). Push the reset button (9) at the bottom of the outdoor unit and perform another attempt
at pairing.
Other devices on the same frequency (2.4 GHz) may impair pairing, e.g. WLAN router, other wireless
cameras or similar. Observe chapter 12.
