Preparation
Type labels in different languages are included in the package. Stick the language label in your
language over the German language label on the Weekly timer.
Choose between continuous operation and switch operation
On the side of the Weekly timer, there is a slide switch for selecting the desired type of opera-
tion:
Position " "
The socket is permanently switched on; settings on the Weekly timer are not
important
Position " " The socket is automatically switched on or off via the Weekly timer according to
the existing settings
Setting the time
Turn the outer setting ring with the imprinted times of day clockwise (observe the large arrow
on the inner ring), until the symbol " " on the inner ring shows the current time and date of
the week.
Turn the setting ring only clockwise; it can be moved easily.
It is not possible to turn anti-clockwise! Do not exert any force! If the Weekly timer is
damaged due to that, the warranty will be void!
The Weekly timer only works when it is supplied with electricity, i.e. when it is connected to an
active mains socket.
Setting the on/off times
With the segments on the on the edge of the setting ring (96 shift segments for 7 days), you can
set the times for switching on or switching off.
A segment when pressed down activates the socket (mains voltage existing); a segment when
pushed upwards or pulled out switches the socket off (no voltage, the connected device is off).
Example: If a connected appliance should be switched on between 6 and 10 o'clock every
weekday, press the segments between 6 and 10 o'clock downwards every weekday. All the
other segments must be pulled out.
There is labelling of the weekdays on the setting ring (in the English language):

SUNDAY
With the design of the Weekly timer (mechanical drive and switching process;
96 shift segments for 7 days), deviations from the switching times occur.
For that reason, the electronic Weekly timer should be used instead for switching
processes or switching times that require accuracy.
The mechanical Weekly timer has, however the great advantage that a setting can
be made very quickly.
Connecting a device to the Weekly timer
• Switch the device off.
• Plug the device to the socket of the Weekly timer; push the plug completely into the socket
of the Weekly timer.
• Switch the device on.
• If the slide switch for the type of operation is in the position " ", the socket of the Weekly timer
is thus switched off permanently.
If the slide switch for the type of operation is in the position " ", the socket of the Weekly
timer is automatically switched on or off depending the segments on the setting ring.
When the socket on the Weekly timer is activated, a red LED on the front side of the
Weekly timer lights up.
Care and cleaning
Before cleaning the product, disconnect the appliance from the Weekly timer. Disconnect then
the Weekly timer from the power supply by pulling it out of the mains socket.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, since these
could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
