Renault Clio III 2.0i 16v Sport 197 2006-
1.
Disconnect the negative terminal from the vehicle battery.
2.
Unclip & remove the air box feed pipes from between the slam panel & air box. (Fig. 1&2)
3.
Remove the angled rubber intake hose from the right hand side of the air box as shown. (Fig. 3)
4.
Unclip & remove the intake hose from between the air box & throttle body. (Fig. 4,5&6)
5.
Unclip & remove the battery covers. (Fig. 7)
6.
Disconnect the positive terminal & vent from the vehicle battery. Unbolt the securing clamp &
remove the battery from the vehicle. (Fig. 8)
7.
Unclip & remove the plastic battery surround from the vehicle as shown. (Fig. 9)
8.
Carefully lift the air box assembly from its mounting rubbers & remove the complete air box
assembly from the vehicle. (Fig.10)
9.
Fit the rubber filter adaptor & metal adaptor tube into the base of the air filter & secure
using the hose clamp supplied. (Fig.11)
10. Fit the angled intake hose to the air filter assembly & secure using a #44 hose clamp
supplied. (Fig.12)
11. Fit the new air filter intake assembly the throttle body & secure using the #44 hose clamp
supplied. Position the filterchager to give maximum clearances. (Fig.13&14)
12. Carefully expand the flexi cold air hose & feed the cold air hose into the vent in the slam panel.
Secure the end of the hose to the vent using a plastic tie supplied. Position the other end of the
cold air hose to finish approx. 4" / 10cm from the air filter & secure using the plastic ties
supplied. (Fig.15&16)
13. Refit the battery surround, battery & battery covers etc previously removed. (Fig.17)
14. Reconnect the negative & positive battery terminals.
15. Carry out a final check of the height / alignment of the K&N induction system before starting the
engine. Installation is now complete.

1 x Flexi Cold Air Hose.

Fixing Kit :-
3 x Plastic Tie.
2 x #44 Hose Clamp.
WARNING: Before starting the engine carry
out a final fitment check of the K&N
performance kit. It will be necessary for all
intake systems to be checked periodically for
realignment, clearance and tightening of all
connections. Failure to follow the above
instructions or proper maintenance may void
the warranty.
FILTER MAINTENANCE: K&N suggests
checking the filter periodi-cally for excessive
dirt build-up. When the element becomes
covered in dirt (or once a year), service it
according to the instructions on the Recharger
service kit available from your K&N dealer,
part number 99-5000 or 99-5050.

Onderdelen (Fig.1&2) Maak de toevoerpijp los van het luchtfilterhuis zoals afgebeeld. Filter-Element (Fig.3) Verwijder de toevoerpijp naar het luchtfilterhuis uit de auto zoals afgebeeld.
