3-Way Cinch Audio Switch

Intended use
The 3-way cinch audio switch is used to switch pre-amplifier output signals from audio devices to operate
several devices with one pre-amplifier input.
This product may only be connected to pre-amplifier inputs of audio devices.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Do not expose the
product to moisture, e.g. in damp locations or the like.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to additional
risks, damage to other connected devices, such as short circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or altered.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Functional description
The 3-way cinch audio switch extends the connection possibilities of your amplifier/pre-amplifier with ad-
ditional pre-amplifier inputs.
The connected audio source devices can be selected with the selector switch.
They are connected with the cinch sockets commonly found on these devices.

• When connecting, observe the colour marking of the connection sockets:
• Connect the cinch socket pairs INPUT 1-3 to the outputs of the audio source devices.
• Connect the cinch socket pair OUTPUT TO AMP with a pre-amplifier of your amplifier/pre-amplifier.
• Switch on your audio source devices and the amplifier/pre-amplifier and start the desired music pro-
• On the amplifier/pre-amplifier, switch on the input to which the 3-way cinch audio switch is connected.
• Select the desired source device with the rotary selector switch.
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry cloth, requires
no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.

Connection

Use only suitable cinch cables for connection. Use of other cables may lead to interfer-
ence.
Carefully read the input and output connection section in the relevant operating instruc-
tions of the devices that are to be connected.
Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to damage to the 3-way cinch audio
switch or any connected devices.
Switch off the devices to be connected before connecting them to and do not switch them
on again until you have made all the necessary connections and checked them.
Follow the same procedure, when changing the connection of the 3-way cinch audio
switch.
