5. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 FASTENING THE LASHING STRAP TO THE MARQUEE
Fasten the lashing strap to the lashing rod of the marquee, as close to the supporting rod as possible, Fig. 1. Place the strap around the lashing rod
and close the fastener, as set out in steps 1-6, Fig. 2.

5.2 FASTENING THE SPRING TO THE LASHING BELT
Pull the strap through the double eyelet fastener of the spring, as set out in steps 1-4, Fig. 3.

5.3 TYING THE MARQUEE DOWN
Hammer the peg in the ground near the marquee supporting rods with the hanging hook pointing
away from the mobile home. Hang the strap on the peg with the spring, Fig. 4. Pull the strap through
the double eyelet fastening by the loose end to stretch it. Pull it until the spring is slightly stretched.
6. MAINTENANCE AND CARE
The individual parts of the guy rope set for strong winds do not need maintenance if used correctly.
Clean parts after use. Leave the parts to dry completely before putting them away. Keep the guy rope
set for strong winds in a dry place, protected from sunlight.
7. NOTES REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Dispose of the Strong Winds Guy Rope with residual or household waste if there is visible ageing, cracks, cuts or chafe marks.
