1. Plug the USB connector into any free USB port on your console.
2. Wait around five seconds, then press the HOME button to
register the gamepad on the console. The gamepad's LEDs will
flash during the registration process; once complete, one of the
LEDs will remain solid indicating the player number.
3. Press the HOME button to access the Home Menu on the PS3*.
Be aware, you can't switch the console on or off using this button.
Some games offer optional motion sensor control functionality
for which you need a special gamepad. To ensure you maintain
optimal control, deactivate the relevant option in the game's
options menu.
