Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable materials, such as
curtains, cloth, etc...when it is in use, as a fire might occur.
Be careful not to scratch the special coating of the cooking plate, as it would lose its non-
stick feature. Use a classical wooden spatula or a heat resistant plastic one.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use, especially since it is not equipped with
an on/off switch.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
Competent qualified electrician : after sales department of the producer or importer or any

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.
FIELD OF APPLICATION/OF OPERATION
Use the appliance for domestic purposes only and in the way indicated in these
instructions.
This appliance is intended to be used for domestic applications and similar
applications such as:
Kitchen corners reserved for personnel in shops, offices and other professional
environments.
Farms.
The use by clients of hotels, motels and other environments with a residential
character.
Environments of the "bed and breakfast" type.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Unpack the appliance and its accessories, wipe it them with a damp cloth and dry them.
Plug in the appliance.
During the first use some smoke or smell might escape. This is perfectly normal during the
first use. Therefore we advise you to operate the appliance empty for about 10 minutes.
Before use, grease the plates.
Do not eat the first waffles.
After a certain period of time, the housing of some appliance might get a light brown
colour. This is due to the steam coming out during cooking, and this is inevitable.
USE
Caution! During operation, the baking plates become very hot. Do not touch them!
To open the appliance, press the handle and release button simultaneously.
Close the appliance, plug it in and put the thermostat on its maximum position. The red
pilot light goes on to indicate that the appliance is plugged in and heating.
As soon as the desired temperature is reached, the green pilot light will go on as well. Now
you can pour the dough into the waffle maker.
The pilot light will come on and out according to the heating cycle. This means that the
thermostat regulates the temperature automatically during use.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes
except
under
International BELGIUM. The pages must be reproduced and
folded in order to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x
210 mm height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't change
the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.
