Mounting and adjusting the mitre fence (fig. I)
The max. mitre angle is 60° .
Slide the mitre fence (5) into the slot (34) to
the left or right of the table (4) as required.
Loosen the adjustment screw (35).
Set the desired mitre angle using the scale on
the protractor (36).
Tighten the adjustment screw.
Instructions for use
Firmly hold the workpiece while sanding.
Do not exert extra pressure.
Start with a coarse grain and slowly switch to
a finer grain to produce the best result.
Use the mitre fence for extremely precise work.
Using the sanding disc (fig. A)
Use the sanding disc for sanding rough wood
ends.
Press the workpiece against the sanding disc.
Move the workpiece back and forth along the
disc until you have reached the desired result.
Using the sanding belt (fig. A)
When using the machine in the horizontal
position, place the workpiece against the
fence on the sanding belt.
When using the machine in the vertical
position, place the workpiece on the table
against the sanding belt.
Move the workpiece back and forth over or
against the sanding belt.
Always sand wooden workpieces in the
longitudinal direction of the grain.
Switching on and off (fig. A)
To switch the machine on, set the on/off
switch (1) to 'I'.
To switch the machine off, set the on/off
switch (1) to '0'.
Never use the machine for
sanding magnesium workpieces.
Readjusting the bumper cushion (fig. J)
The bumper cushion (37) should be readjusted
when the sanding belt arm (2) is not level.
Turn the bumper cushion in or out to
determine the correct adjustment.
Check that the sanding belt arm is level.
Dust extraction (fig. E)
The dust extraction connection (38 & 39) together
with an external vacuum cleaner takes care of the
dust extraction of the working surface.
Slide the suction mouth of a vacuum cleaner
onto the connection (38 & 39).
CLEANING
Before performing any work
on the equipment, pull the
GB
power plug.
Cleaning
§ Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Keep the
ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt
does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never use solvents
such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Lubrication
The machine requires no additional lubrication.

The declared vibration total value has
been measured in accordance with a standard
test method and may be used for comparing one
tool with another that the declared vibration total
value may also be used in a preliminary
assessment of exposure.
A warning that the vibration emission
during actual use of the power tool can differ
from the declared total value depending on the
ways in which the tool is used and of the need to
identify safety measures to protect the operator
that are based on an estimation of exposure in
the actual conditions of use (taking account of
all parts of the operating cycle such as the times
when the tool is switched off and when it is
running idle in addition to the trigger time).
