5. Replacing the battery for the piezo ignition
The Cosipure features a piezo ignition that runs on one AAA battery. This battery may run out after repeated
use of the device. The battery can be replaced as follows:
-
Make sure the Cosipure, ceramic logs and lava rocks are completely cooled down.
-
Make sure the Cosipure is no longer connected to the gas bottle.
-
On the control panel you will find a smaller black button besides the control button. This is the ignition
where you will find the battery.
-
You can now twist the black ignition open and place the battery on the ignition, according to the
instructions. Please mind the +/- sides.
-
The old battery should be returned to a collection point.
6. Moving the unit
It is advisable to move the Cosipure as little as possible. With every move you risk damage to the Cosipure. If
you still want to move the unit, make sure that the Cosipure is shut off from the gas bottle. The new location
for Cosipure needs to be clean, flat, and hardened again.
7. Installing the cover
For each Cosipure an all-weather cover can be purchased separately. This cover protects your Cosipure against
weather influences. Only place the cover when the Cosipure is completely cooled down. If you place the cover
immediately after usage of the device, the cover will gain damage and possibly even catch fire.
Note: Have you purchased a teak Cosipure? Then you should take notice to never place the cover over teak
wood. Unfortunately, teak is not suitable to be covered. You can leave the teak table top outside or store it in a
garage or garden shed, for example. For information about the maintenance and treatment of teak wood, see
the 'FAQ' page on our website
