Charging the rechargeable
battery (fig. D)

Charging with the solar panel

• Position the product so that the solar panel
(1f) is exposed to direct sunlight to guaran-
tee optimal charging of the rechargeable
battery.
• The solar panel must be exposed to direct
sunlight for at least 8 hours to charge the
rechargeable battery fully.
Note: The charging process runs no matter
which programme is selected.

Charging with the USB cable

When there is not much sunlight it is advisable
to charge the product via the USB cable (5)
supplied to charge at full capacity.
Note: Charging must be done indoors since
with the USB port (1g) open the product's
splash protection is not guaranteed.
1. When charging, switch the sound frequency
control unit (1d) to the "0" programme to
prevent any malfunction.
2. Connect the end (5a) of the USB cable (5)
with the product's USB port.
3. Connect the other end (5b) of the USB ca-
ble to a USB port of a switched-on laptop/
notebook or of a charging station with a
USB port.
Note: The charge time for the rechargeable
battery is about 5-10 hours depending on its
current charge status.
4. Remove the USB cable from the product
when the rechargeable battery is fully
charged.

Storage, cleaning

When not in use, always store the product
switched off, clean and dry at room tempera-
ture.
Only clean the product with a damp cloth and
wipe dry afterwards.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with
harsh cleaning agents.
Disposal
The accompanying symbol indicates
that this device complies with Directive
2012/19/EU. This directive indicates
that you may not dispose of this device
along with basic household waste at the end of
its useful life and instead must hand it in to
specifically designated collection sites,
valuable substance collection stations, or waste
disposal facilities.
Look after the environment and dispose of
waste properly.
Batteries may not be disposed of with
household waste. They may contain toxic
heavy metals and are subject to hazardous
waste treatment. The chemical symbols of the
heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. Dispose of used
batteries at a municipal collection site.
