Flame failure device
The flame failure device ensures that the gas
supply is closed if the flame goes out during
the cooking process.
Hold the control knob pressed in in the full
position for approximately 5 seconds.
The flame failure device will switch on.
Saucepans
The recommended pan sizes are:

For the wok burner, min. 28-34 cm;
■
For the rapid burner, min.22-26 cm;
■
For the semi-rapid burner, min.16-20 cm;
■
For the simmer burner, min. 12-14 cm.

Tip
Keep the lid on the cooking pan while cooking
and save energy.
Clean saucepans absorb heat more efficiently.
Wrong :
A great deal of heat is
lost along the sides of
the saucepan.
Right:
The heat is evenly
distributed over the
base of the saucepan.
Switching on the oven
Gas oven
The air in the oven is heated by the gas
burner. You can set the temperature using the
oven knob (fig. 4). The temperature can be
adjusted continuously.
Oven settings table
- min. setting = 145 ºC
- setting 1 = 150 ºC
- setting 2 = 170 ºC
- setting 3 = 180 ºC
- setting 4 = 190 ºC
- setting 5 = 200 ºC
- setting 6 = 230 ºC
- setting 7 = 240 ºC
- max. setting = 270 ºC
Igniting the oven burner
Set the oven knob to the setting 'max'
and ignite the oven burner with a match.
Approach a match or lighter to the ignition
hole located on the burner cover and wait to
see the oven flames from the holes.
Protection system
This gas oven is fitted with a thermocouple.
This is a thermoelectric protection system. It
ensures that the gas tap is closed if the flame
goes out. During ignition, keep the oven knob
pressed for about 5 seconds. The protection
system is turned on.
