Changing the side on which the door opens
When changing the side on which the door opens, the appliance must be disconnected
from mains power.
During the next step(s), support the refrigerator door or freezer door to prevent it from
falling.
1. Remove the door compartments from the

refrigerator door to prevent damage.
2. Remove the cover plate (1) from the upper

hinge; the cover plate for the other side is
3
supplied separately.
3. Remove the screws (2) and the upper
hinge (3).
4. Carefully lift the refrigerator door out of the
middle hinge and place the door on a soft
surface to avoid scratching. Pay attention
to the positioning of any adjustment

washers.

5. Remove the screws (1) and part (2); then fit
them on the other side of the refrigerator
door.

6. Remove the screws (1) and the middle
hinge (2).

7. Carefully lift the freezer door from the
lower hinge and place the door on a soft
surface to avoid scratching. Pay attention
to the positioning of any adjustment
washers.
8. Remove the screws (1) and part (2); then fit
them on the other side of the freezer door.
