Concrete quality
Colour variability: Concrete is a natural material and, as
such, slight nuances and variations in the shades of the
cement mix can occur during its production process.
Texture variability: Each type of texture is manufactured
manually during production. It is therefore not possible to
guarantee a complete homogeneity of the surfaces.
Fibers: Fibers that are used to reinforce the product can
emerge on the surface with use. The presence of these
fibers is not considered a failure to comply.
Solution: It is possible to use specific abrasive discs, to
remove the curled fibers.
Holes: Concrete surfaces can have small holes and bubbles.
These features are a natural consequence of the production
process and an intrinsic characteristic of the material.
Cracks: During the drying and curing phase the concrete
tends to shrink and expand. This process can cause the
appearance of micro cracks or shrinkage wrinkles, which
must be accepted as a natural phenomenon of the material.
Concrete maintenance
Concrete is a porous material and it tends to absorb
the liquids that come into contact with its surface. It is
therefore important to dab the liquids dry and especially
avoid prolonged contact between the table top and wet
objects such as vases, bottles, glasses or plastic sheets:
prolonged contact with liquids can cause stains that are
difficult to remove. Clean the surface with water and neutral

Maintenance kit
www.pietboon-care.nl offers a maintenance kit to revive
and homogenize the aesthetics of worn surfaces. It is
not possible to restore the surface as at the moment
of purchase, but it is possible to mask stains and
imperfections, making the surface more homogeneous.
The wax supplied with the kit also revives the protective
treatment, increasing the protection of the top.
