WELDING MASK
TW 802546
WARNING
You are required to read, learn and follow
the few rules set forth in this manual.
While welding, the luminous radiations
shooting from the voltaic arc can harm
the operator's eyes and burn his skin;
furthermore welding produces sparks and
molten metal drops which will fall
everywhere. It is thus necessary to wear
the welding mask in order to avoid
undergoing severe physical damages.
Avoid to set the weldingmask on fire
given that the ensuing fumes are harmful
to the eyes and to the entire body.
The materials making the welding mask
up are not dangerous to man nor to the
environment.
Check regularly the state of the mask:
Before each use check the correct
-
position and tightening of the
filterglass. This has to be exactly in
the place foreseen.
Keep the mask far from flames.
-
Do not bring the mask too near to the
-
welding area.
In case of longer welding, check the
-
mask every once on a while for
deformation or deterioration.
For particularly sensitive people,
-
materials coming into contact with
the skin may cause allergic reactions.
USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The welding mask must be solely used for
the purpose of protecting the face and
the eyes during welding operation. In
fact, the welding mask is designed to
guarantee maximum protection during
welding in addition to supplying
maximum performance in terms of ease
of wear as well as convenience and
quality.
The welding mask and thus the visual
filter glass must be kept as close to the
eyes as possible in order to protect them
from luminous radiations as well as from
molten metal drops.
After having used it and, at any rate, at
the end of the job, the welding mask
must be thoroughly checked in order to
verify its integrity and possible molten
metal drops must be removed from the
visual filter so as not to jeopardize its
performance.
The welding mask must then be stored in
such a way as to prevent it to buckle or
the protective visual filter to break.

HOW TO CLEAN AND DISINFECT THE
WELDING MASK
Clean and disinfect the welding mask with
water and soap only or, at any rate, with
products free from any solvents. Chemical
solvents would cause the welding mask to
spoil and eventually to break.
A good general care of the welding mask
would prevent it from becoming obsolete in
terms of use as well as of components.
FILTER GLASS
Replace the glass of the filter should you
notice any cracks, splits or broken parts on it
in order to prevent possible damages to your
eyes due to the voltaic arc produced during
welding operation.
