Setting the thermostat

The thermostat automatically regulates the internal temperature of the appliance.
•
The normal temperature setting is position 4.
•
Set a higher temperature by turning the thermostat dial to position 1, 2 or 3.
•
Set a lower temperature by turning the thermostat dial to position 5, 6 or 7.
•
In the 'OFF' position, the appliance is switched off.
The following applies to appliances with a freezer compartment: if frozen products are
stored for a longer period of time, a setting of between 4 and 7 is recommended.
Fast freezing
The day before you want to freeze large amounts of fresh food at the same time, you can set the
thermostat dial to the lowest temperature setting. Set the thermostat dial to the normal position
when the food is frozen.
