De-scaling
Regularly descale the appliance. Depending on the
hardness of the water, scale deposits may become
attached to the inside of the appliance. The harder
the water, the more often it is necessary to descale
the appliance. Use a descaling product intended for
household appliances (such as coffee makers) and
follow the instructions on the package. Do not switch
on the kettle during descaling. The descaler should be
applied in cold water. After descaling rinse the kettle a
few times with clean water.
STORAGE
Clean the appliance (see 'Cleaning and
maintenance'). Store the appliance in a dry place.
