INTRODUCTION

AquaForte GUV-207/209/211/218/224/236. Without written permission, it is not permitted to make any changes to the device
or the documentation provided. The manual and associated documentation must be kept with the device. Only persons with
proven expertise may work on the device. The Seller is not liable for damage caused by use and/or application of the goods con-
trary to the instructions and CE safety conditions of the manufacturer and/or supplier. The Buyer is deemed to be familiar with
these instructions. The intellectual property rights to drawings, models, moulds, the CE marking and everything else relating to
the execution of the order made by the Seller and/or commissioned by the Buyer (shall) remain vested in the Seller.
OPERATION
This UV-C device ensures a clear pond with healthy fish. The pond water is pumped through the UV-C device, where it is exposed
to UV-C radiation at a wavelength of 254 Nanometres. This radiation is produced by a special lamp and ensures that bacteria and
germs have no chance to develop. To achieve optimum results, the device is used 24 hours a day, during the frost-free period.
Thanks to this UV-C device, your pond water will be clear within 14 days and your fish will remain in excellent condition.
SAFETY
• This device produces harmful radiation. Direct contact can cause danger to the eyes and skin. Therefore, check the operation
of the UV-C lamp only through the transparent parts of the unit.
• Do not use the unit if any parts are damaged (especially the quartz glass).
• If no water flows through, switch off the machine.
• For permanent connection to the grid, the regulations of the power supply company must be complied with. If in doubt about
the connection, consult a recognised installer or the energy supply company.
• If there is a danger of freezing during the winter months, remove the unit.
• The cable of this unit is not replaceable. In the event of damage to the cable, the entire unit must be destroyed.
• After switching off the device, the lamp will remain warm for about 10 minutes.
• Ensure that the UV-C lamp is mounted in a dry place so that it is protected against (rain) water.
• The electrical circuit (socket) to which the pump is connected must be equipped with a leakage current protection of max.
