4 Before use
1. Remove all foils and other packaging material from the appliance.
2. Clean the appliance, ►"Cleaning and care" on page 29.
3. Set up the appliance in a place that fulfils the following conditions:

Near an isolated ground receptacle (fuse at least 10 A)
Horizontal and free from shocks

Heat-resistant
Away from heated or flammable surfaces, objects (> 1 m)
•
Away from walls (> 20 cm top, > 10 cm rear, > 5 cm on the sides)
•
4. Plug the mains plug into the outlet.
4.1 Inserting the turntable
1. Press the door opener to open the microwave.
2. Place the roller ring in the middle of the cooking chamber.
3. Place the turntable on the drive in the interior so that the retaining lugs
grip one another.

4.2 Selecting cookware
Round, transparent containers are best suited for cooking in the microwave.
Microwaves cannot penetrate metal. Therefore, do not use cookware with
metal edges or metal containers in the microwave or combination programme.
