7.3 Restoring the original configuration
Caution! This reset deletes all the RTS control points, all the
RTS sensors, all the end limit settings and resets the motor
direction of rotation and favourite position.

Press and hold the battery PROG button for over 12
seconds.
The roller shutter will make a first up and down
movement, repeat it a few moments later, and then
a third time.
The motor is restored to its original configuration,
all the RTS control points and sensors are erased,
as well as the settings made (end limits, direction of
rotation, favourite position).

Completely recommission the Oximo 40 WireFree™
RTS:

7.4 Battery recharging
If the Oximo WireFree™ Battery has lost a lot of charge have
it recharged by a professional, using the Somfy compatible
external battery charger (Oximo WireFree™ Power Supply,
not supplied).
Caution! Any use of another battery charger is prohibited.
Do not exceed the maximum charging time of 3.5 hours.
Do not recharge the battery more than 2 times a year.

7.5 Battery replacement
The battery must be replaced by a professional, and only
with an identical model.
Never throw out the battery with domestic waste. Please
take the battery to a collection point or an approved
centre to ensure that it is recycled.

Disconnect the battery from the motor and the
solar panel(s).

Remove the cable from the roller shutter casing.
1)
If the battery is screwed onto the bracket
a)
Remove the plastic covers from each end of the
battery:
-
Gently remove the mounting pads on the rear of the
battery (flat face) beside the metal part.

Slide the covers along the guides to release them from
their bracket.
b)
Unscrew the 3 screws and remove the battery.
2)
If the battery is bonded onto the bracket:
a) Slide a thin blade between the battery and its bracket
to detach the battery from the adhesive.
b)
Unstick the battery.
c)
Remove the adhesive residue from the bracket.

To fit the new battery, perform complete reinstallation from
section 3.
