7. Tips and recommendations
7.1 Problem with the Oximo WireFree™ Battery?
Problems
The roller shutter is not operational.
The roller shutter stops briefly
before raising, when the Up button
is pressed.
The roller shutter performs two brief
movements in the same direction,
when the Down button or STOP/my
button is pressed.
The battery is recharged several
times in a year using the external
battery charger.
7.2 Replacing a lost or broken RTS control
point or RTS sensor
Caution! This procedure deletes all the previously program-
med RTS control points and all the RTS sensors. However,
the programmed favourite position and settings made are
retained.
1) Press and hold the battery PROG button for over 7
seconds (but under 12 seconds).
The roller shutter will make an up and down move-
ment, and repeat it a few moments later.
All the RTS control points and sensors are erased.

To program a first RTS control point:

Press the battery PROG button again until the roller shut-
ter makes an up and down movement:
The motor is in programming mode.
3)
Press the RTS control point PROG button until the roller
shutter makes an up and down movement:
The RTS control point is programmed into the
motor.

Possible causes
The wiring is incorrect.
The motor is deactivated.
The battery is weak.
One of the components (motor, solar
panel, control point, ...) is not working.
The battery is weak.
The battery is low
One solar panel is not sufficient to
charge the battery.
The solar panel(s) is (are) faulty or
damaged.
The battery has reached the end of its
service life.

Solutions
Check the wiring and modify it if
necessary.
Activate the motor using the battery's
PROG button.
Wait for the solar panel(s) to recharge
the battery, or have the battery
recharged.

Check the number of solar panels
required according to the configura-
tion, and add a solar panel if need be,
