13 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION
13.1 Correcting appliance and handling faults
CAUTION!
Risk of injury
Sharp-edged and moving appliance parts can lead to injury.
Always wear protective gloves during maintenance, care and cleaning work.
Malfunction
The appliance does not
start.

and has dug itself in. The
wheels continue to turn.

Cause
Rechargeable battery is flat.
Bump sensors do not trigger. Contact an AL-KO service centre.
The grass is too high.

evenness of the grass sur-
face.

rect time.
The mowing duration is in-
correctly set.
The appliance loses the time
settings.

Help in case of malfunction
Remedy
Charge the appliance in the base sta-
tion.
Increase the cutting height, then
lower in stages to the required
height.
Mow the grass short with a lawn
mower.
Eliminate the unevenness.
Set the time.
Set the mowing times.
Rechargeable battery is defective. Con-
tact an AL-KO service centre.
Switch off the appliance, set on level
ground or shorter grass and restart.
Charge the rechargeable battery.
Replace the cutting blade.
Program longer mowing times.
Reduce the mowing area.
Increase the cutting height, then lower
in stages to the required height.
Replace the cutting blade.
Attach the cutting blade with new
screws.
