4.2.2 Assembly
WARNING: Risk of clamping - Take care that no body parts and wires get trapped,

crushed or cut during assembly.
2. Before assembly, put on the caster brakes to make sure that
the lift cannot be moved unintentionally. Push the caster
brake plate down gently to its end stop with the front of your
foot. To release the brake, push the brake plate gently back
up again with the front of your foot until the caster is free.
1. Remove the safety spindle (locking pin) from the bottom end
of the pole by gently pressing the button at the head of the
spindle. The safety spindle can now be removed easily.
2. Undo the transport lock (wing screw) gently and the pole can
now be raised.

the safety spindle is correctly inserted.
Fix the pole in place by pushing the safety spindle at the end
of the pole in with the pushbutton depressed until its other
end clearly protrudes. Release the pushbutton on the safety
spindle and check that it cannot be pulled out.
