Safety notes
This device may be used by children ages 8 and over as well as

persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or
those lacking experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised
or have been instructed in how to safely use the device and have
understood the risks associated with operating the device.
Children may not play with the device.

Children must not perform cleaning and user maintenance
■
of the device unless they are 8 years of age or older and are
supervised.
Keep children under 8 years of age and animals away from the
■
device and the connection line.
Warning of hot surfaces! During operation, parts of the
device become very hot. Be absolutely sure that you do not
come into contact with the heated parts during and after
using the device. Only touch the handles when the device
is in operation or directly after deactivating it. Only transport
and stow the device once it has cooled off completely. Use
suitable kitchen gloves to handle the device.
If the device is not supervised, before assembling, disassembling

or cleaning the device, it must always be disconnected from the
power supply.
If the device, the connection line or the device plug is damaged,
■
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or customer service or
by a similarly qualifi ed person (e.g. qualifi ed workshop) to avoid
any risks.
Risks of injury
■
Keep children and animals away from the device and packaging material. There is a
danger of injury and suffocation!
■
Only use and store the device out of the reach of children. The mains cord may also
not be accessible for children. They could pull the device down with it.
■
Scalding hazard due to heat, hot steam or condensed water! Be careful when
opening the device. Hot steam may be emitted when opening the device. We
recommend using potholders or kitchen gloves when removing meals.
■
Ensure that the connected mains cord does not pose a tripping hazard.
