Use
CAUTION!
❐ The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the blade attachments in order to
prevent any cut injuries.
❐ Before using them, always make sure that the sealing ring is correctly inserted in the
blade attachment (see below).
❐ Please wash or peel the food before you chop it up. Chop large pieces up small so
that you get an even blending result.
❐ Fruit may only be chopped up if the core / pips have been removed.
❐ Always keep hold of the motor unit with one hand during preparation.
❐ Always pull the mains plug out of the plug socket and allow the blades to come to a
complete standstill before you remove the blade attachment.
❐ The device may not be transported while it is switched on.
❐ Do not use the device for longer than 1 minute without interruption. A cooling-down
period of 2 minutes must then be maintained.
❐ Never fi ll the device with very hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter
than 50°C.
❐ Do not overfi ll the shakers! Only fi ll the large shaker up to the MAX marking and the
small shaker no more than three-quarters full.
Checking the Fit of the Sealing Rings
There are sealing rings in the blade attachments and in the sports and keep-fresh lid.
Before each use, check whether the sealing ring is correctly inserted! As the seal-
ing rings of the blade attachments have a different shape to the sealing rings of the lids,
they must not be mixed up.

•
Blade attachments: The sealing ring in the blade attachment
prevents liquid from getting into the motor unit. The ring, which
has a trapezoidal profi le, must be placed with the tapered side
fi rst into the groove of the blade attachment (see illustration).
The wider side is then visible. It must terminate with the bot-
tom of the blade attachment without any gap.
•
Sports and keep-fresh lids: The sealing ring ensures that the
sealed shaker does not leak. Make sure before using it that
the sealing ring is fully recessed in the groove of the lid. With
the sealing rings for the lids, it does not matter which side is
inserted fi rst.
