OPERATION
Automatic power reduction system
Every hotplate is provided with automatic power
reduction system. If the system is activated, the
hotplate will be switched on at its full power for a
time depending on the selected heating power
level and then the power will be switched to the
set heating power level.
Touch the sensor (+) to activate the automatic
power reduction system. The heating power
level "9" and the decimal point are displayed
then.
If, within 10 seconds, you start setting the
heating power with (-) sensor, the automatic
power reduction system will be activated and
the decimal point will be displayed all the time
of its activity. You can now adjust the heating
power at any moment, following the instructions
given in the chapter: „Setting up the heating
power".
If you do not start to select the heat
setting within 10 seconds, then the
decimal point vanishes and the auto-
matic warm-up function is inactive.
If you do not wish to use the auto-
matic power reduction system, start
better setting the heating power from
(-) sensor.
Switching off a hotplate
You can switch off one of the hotplates proceeding as follows:
1.
Select the hotplate you wish to switch off with the hotplate selection sensor.
2.
Then touch simultaneously the sensors (+) and (-) or reduce the set point to "0" using
the sensor (-).
The letter "H" is displayed to indicate the residual temperature.
Switching off the whole cooking plate
The plate is in operation as long as at least one hotplate is switched on. You can switch off
the whole plate by touching the main sensor
indicating the residual temperature.
When the appliance is switched off using the on/off sensor field
