Before fi rst use

Remove any protective foils and stickers from the device. Never remove the type
plate or any warnings!

Clean the accessories before using them for the fi rst time as they may contain man-
ufacturing residues. Follow the instructions in "Cleaning and storage".

Assemble the wisk attachment. To do so insert the wisk into the connecting piece.
It must engage audibly.
Usage
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING!

Only use the device if it has been correctly assembled!
■
Risk of damage due to unforeseen events!
– Ensure that the unit is stable during operation. Hold the cutting container with one
hand and the motor unit with the other hand.
– When using the cutting container, do not move the device during use. Always
unplug the mains plug from the socket and allow the motor to come to a complete
stop before transporting the device.
■
Use the device for a maximum of 1 minute without interruption. A cooling time of
2 minutes must subsequently be observed.
■
Always disconnect the mains plug from the socket before changing accessories.
Using the cutting container with blades
1. Place the cutting container (6) on a dry, level and fi rm surface.
2. Insert the motor shaft with attached blades (5) into the holder in the cutting container.
Make sure it is seated correctly.
3. Fill the food to be shredded into the cutting container. PLEASE NOTE THE FOL-
LOWING! Do not overfi ll the cutting container! Make sure that the maximum
fi lling quantity (MAX mark) is not exceeded.
4. Place the protective cover (7) on the cutting container and turn it clockwise to lock it
in place. The protective cover must engage noticeably.
5. Place the motor unit (8) on the protective cover and turn it clockwise to lock it in
place. The motor unit must engage noticeably.
6. Connect the mains plug to an socket that is properly installed and conforms to the
specifi cations of the device.
7. Press and hold the L (1) or H (9) button to run the device at low or high speed respec-
tively. The motor shaft rotates and the blades shred the food in the cutting container.
8. Release the L or H button when the food has been crushed. The motor shaft comes
to a standstill.
9. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
10. Turn the protective cover counter-clockwise to release it from the cutting container
and remove it together with the motor unit.
11. Carefully remove the motor shaft from the cutting container. PLEASE NOTE THE
FOLLOWING! Do not touch the blades!
12. Remove the crushed food from the cutting container.
