Useful information
1� Switch off the appliance and unplug it�
2� Insert a tool, such as a flathead screwdriver, into the small slot in the bottom of the separator
and push in gently, but with enough pressure to open it�
3� Place a container under the filter opening and empty it using the emergency drain hose (see
the section on Draining the waste water for specific procedures)� Rotate the filter anticlockwise,
then unscrew it fully and remove it�
4� Clean the filter and the filter chamber�
5� Check that the pump rotor turns freely�
6� Refit the filter by re-inserting it and rotating it clockwise until it does not rotate any further�
7� Refit the cover�
Water inlet hose
• Regularly check the water supply hose to make sure that it is not weakened or cracked, and
replace it if necessary using a hose of the same type (available from the after-sales service
or an authorised dealer)�
