3.10 Adjusting of the tip cap

A tip cap is mounted on the lower right back frame that can be adjusted in its height
depending on the seat height of the wheelchair.
The tip cap can be placed in 2 different position with a difference of 15 mm (0.59 in.). (The
wheelchair with seat height 500 mm (19.69 in.) is the tip cap height adjustable in 150 mm
and 165 mm (5.91 in. and 6.50 in.)).
If an anti-tip device is installed, it replaces the addition of the tipping lever and can be used
accordingly.

Maintenance
Lifetime of the wheelchair is influenced by its use, storage, regular maintenance, servicing
and cleaning.

Regular Maintenance
The maintenance activities to ensure a good condition for your Vermeiren wheelchair are

Tighten the screws properly !.
The driving wheels are mounted in an axle adapter ! at
the bottom of the back frame ".
1. Loosen the fixing screws $.
2. Turn the axle adapter ! to the back until the axle
mounting is behind the back frame.
3. Tighten the screws properly $.
4. Adjust the brakes.
