7.1 Decommissioning
Figures 8 - 11
Take the device out of operation by releasing the „ON/OFF button" D in the handle.
Disconnect the device from the power supply.
Never place the device on a flammable surface after finishing work, always place it in the
chilling system (J). Always switch off the appliance as shown in Fig. 11 to let it cool down.
CAUTION! Risk of burns caused by hot parts!
Even after switching off, the protective cover with heating element (I) remains extreme-
ly hot for a long period of time.
To speed up the chilling process, use the chilling device included in the scope of supply
(J). Use it as follows:
-
Place the chilling system (J) on a non-flammable surface as shown in Fig. 8. Now place the

hot device in the chilling system and snap the retaining clip in, as shown in Fig. 9 - 10.
Now tilt the device with the chilling system in such a way that the hand grip rests on
the ground, as shown in Fig. 11. To ensure a cooling time of at least 15 minutes, the
device must remain in this position.
CAUTION! Risk of burns caused by hot parts!
The chilling system heats up during the cooling process.
