Safety instructions for connecting the device
WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
Contact with energised cables/wires or components may result
in serious injury or death! You should therefore observe the fol-
lowing safety instructions:
If the power cable is damaged, it must only be replaced by a
repair shop designated by the manufacturer in order to pre-
vent a hazard ! Please contact the manufacturer or the cus-
tomer service department.
Ensure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage
(V) of the device !
Only connect the device to an AC grounded power outlet.
When using an extension lead, only use a grounded cable for
outdoor (Type H05R N-F or H07R N-F) use with a conductor
cross-section of at least 1.5 mm
Additional protection can be achieved by installing a residual
current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating current
not exceeding 30 mA in the domestic installation. Ask your
electrical installer!
The mains plug must be removed:
- in the event of faults during operation
- in work breaks
- prior to any cleaning
- after use
2.3 Safety instructions for operating the device
WARNING! Danger of electric shock!
If the energised device comes into contact with water, there
is a risk of serious injury or death! You should therefore
observe the following safety instructions:
Do not use the device with wet hands.
Do not immerse the device in water or spray or clean it with
water. The device must be protected against moisture. However,
if the device does fall into water, immediately unplug the mains
plug. Never reach into the water if the device is still connected!
The On / Off button (D) in the handle (A) must not be fixed or
short-circuited.
