OPERATION
Cooking zone backlight
1. When you touch the on/off sensor (1) backlight of all cooking zones will be on. Backlight
is on until you select one of the cooking zones (3) or you turn off your appliance.
2. When you select a specific cooking zone (3) its backlight will turn on until you select a
heat setting, while backlight of all remaining cooking zones is off.
3. When cooking, the backlight is off until you select another cooking zone (see item 2).
4. When you remove the pan from an active cooking zone, its backlight will turn on.
5. For the bridge function an outline of the two bridged cooking zone will turn on.
6. The cooking zone backlight will be on for as long as the cooking zone is active and
cookware is not detected (for up to 90 seconds). When you place cookware on an active
cooking zone its backlight turns off.
DEMO Option
The Demo option can be used for demonstration.
1. Touch on/off sensor (1).
2. Then touch and hold for 5s the Child Lock (9) and pause (7) sensors. The DEMO function
will be activated.
3. Then touch on/off (1) to turn off the appliance and the DEMO function will remain active.
The appliance operates in demonstration mode. To turn the demonstration mode off, go
through the above steps 1-3 again. The demonstration mode is automatically deactivated in
the event of power failure or when you unplug the appliance from power.
